Founded in 2007 by Angel Hussain, the shop started as a cozy neighborhood spot with a small team and a big vision: to serve quality drinks while building genuine connections with the community. What began with just a few tables and a handful of regulars has since grown into a beloved local hangout, known for its house-made syrups, seasonal specials, and inviting atmosphere.
Over the years, we’ve continued to evolve while staying true to what made us special in the first place. Our menu is shaped by the seasons and by the people who walk through our doors—featuring rotating specials, custom bottled lattes, and thoughtful touches in every cup. We host coffee-crafting events, showcase work by local artists, and stay connected to the community that’s supported us from the start.

“Angel’s Island Coffee was born from a spark lit thousands of miles away. At just 16, I worked at a small coffee shop in the Fiji Islands run by an 18-year-old who went on to open five more. But what stayed with me wasn’t the coffee—it was the community. Her shop was a welcoming space for everyone: families, kids, locals, tourists—not just coffee drinkers. It felt like home.
That experience shaped the heart behind Angel’s Island Coffee. I wanted to create that same kind of space right here in Huntsville—a place where people gather, connect, and feel seen. Over the last 18 years, we've done just that, becoming a familiar name to many. But now, my goal is to reach even more people. There are so many in our city who still haven’t experienced what makes Angel’s special.
